About Help, Inc. The Shasta County crisis intervention/suicide prevention line is available 24-hours every day. Sometimes just talking about a problem can help. At some time, many of us face problems that seem too overwhelming to handle alone. Helpline provides the opportunity to talk about anything that is troubling you. Helpline offers non-judgmental emotional support and caring to all callers. Callers are given the chance to explore feelings and to consider the options or referrals that can assist. Help, Inc. is a UNITED WAY AGENCY, with support from Shasta County Mental Health and Shasta County Alcohol and Drug Program.
